This story is of Mrs.Sharda Devi wife of Mr. Ram Prasad from Madhya Pradesh. Her fixed income was dependent on her tailoring and her husband’s job in a private company. When she came to know about Praytana Microfinance giving a loan to poor people, she decided to take a loan for Rs. 20,000 from which she bought 2 sewing machines and the rest of the remaining money she invested in a small shop.
